At the end of 1 Kings 13, King Jeroboam of the the Northern Kingdom of Israel missed God's clear word to him: You shall have no other gods and no idols before ME! So, in chapter 14, God supplies another clear word, this time with application much closer to home!
As the book of 1 Kings continues, we will see the further rise of the prophets of God; they will come to be seen as the few who can be trusted to speak the truth and to speak on God's behalf. Does God provide clear words to His people like this today? Tune in as we look into this word!
